Futian campus belongs to a new typology of schools developed in Shenzhen. The dense requirements of the brief and site, push the proposal to find solutions that are not commonly seen in Chinese schools, already characterized for their density.

This high-rise school presents a new scope of challenges to be addressed through design.

The entrance plaza is an interesting case of study. Lying between landscape and architecture, the entrance is a place where different programs converge and become one.

The complexity of the structure and the different heights of the adjacent programs are gracefully addressed through this triangulated square separated across two levels, softened through the curves of pavements and the void above.
